Turn your St Patrick's Day celebration into one for the whole family with some simple yet show-stopping snacks.

Emerald Charcuterie Board

Begin your St. Patty’s celebration with a magical twist on the classic charcuterie board. Use all your favourites with a sprinkling of green throughout:

  • A selection of cheese (think spring onion and chive cream cheese for a hint of green).

  • Cured meats such as salami and prosciutto.

  • Crisp green vegetables - think green capsicum, cucumber, snow peas or celery.

  • Green olives and pickles for a tangy treat.

  • Spinach dip or fresh guacamole.

  • A sprinkle of shamrock-shaped crackers (use a shamrock cookie cutter on plain tortillas or toasted bread).

  • Grapes and kiwi or apple slices for a touch of sweetness.

Sweet treats

  • Decorate plain cupcakes or donuts with green lollies and sprinkles. Add gold chocolate coins for some extra magic.

  • Add green food colouring to pancake batter and make mini green pikelets. Serve with your choice of toppings.

Leprechaun’s Libations - Kid-Friendly Drinks

Quench your little ones’ thirst with some kid-friendly drinks that will leave everyone feeling lucky:

  • A green smoothie with spinach, banana, yoghurt and milk is both fun and nutritious.

  • Creamy milkshakes with mint ice cream are sure to hit the spot.

  • Add a splash of lime cordial to sparkling apple juice or lemonade for a fizzy green treat.

Naughty Nightcaps - For the adults

  • Try a Baileys Chocolatini - a blend of Irish Cream, Chocolate Liqueur and Vodka.

  • Visit your local FoodWorks Liquor to find some St Patrick's Day sips.

Enjoy your St Patrick's Day celebrations on Sunday 17th March, 2024.
