Spaghetti Bolognese
An easy prep dinner that always pleases a crowd

- Put a large saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil, onion, carrot and celery all finely diced.
- Stir often until all vegetables are soft. Increase the heat slightly and add mince meat and garlic. Cook for three minutes or until meat is browned.
- Add passata, diced tomatoes, basil, parmesan, red wine, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer.
- Leave to simmer on low-medium heat for 30 minutes (or until reduced), stirring occasionally.
- When the bolognese is nearly finished, cook the spaghetti by following the instructions on the packet. Strain the spaghetti.
- Add a small amount of bolognese to the spaghetti and stir through. Serve on a plate and top with more bolognese sauce. Add parmesan and enjoy with fresh bread!

- 2 Celery Sticks
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 250g Pork Mince
- 250g Beef Mince
- 680g Passata
- 400g Diced Tomatoes
- 2 tbs Basil
- 75g Parmesan (Grated)
- 125ml Red Wine
- Salt
- Pepper
- 400g Spaghetti
