Method
- Start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Wrap each cocktail frankfurt with half a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Arrange the wrapped frankfurts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and browned. Turn them over halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
- While the frankfurts are baking, prepare the homemade chili dipping sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Stir the sauce until the brown sugar is fully dissolved and the sauce is heated through.
- Serve the bacon wrapped cocktail frankfurts hot with the homemade chili dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy your delicious appetizer!
