Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cut puff pastry sheets into strips. Wrap puff pastry strips around each mini hotdog.
  3. Brush with beaten egg and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Use a dollop of cream cheese and a peppercorn for each eye. Serve with mustard and tomato sauce.

  • 1 pack of mini hot dogs
  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • tomato sauce and mustard to serve
  • cream cheese and peppercorns for decoration
