Homemade Strawberry Jam
This super simple recipe is a fun Christmas activity to do with the whole family!

Method
- Clean the strawberries and remove the stems. Crush the strawberries in a large mixing bowl using a potato masher or a fork.
- Transfer the crushed strawberries to a large saucepan. Add sugar to the strawberries and stir over low heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the lemon juice to the mixture. Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes or until the jam has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent the jam from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Once the jam has reached the desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Transfer the jam to clean, sterilized jars and seal tightly.
- Store the jam in the refrigerator. It will last for up to 3 months
