Christmas Panettone Trifle

  1. Cut the panettone into 3cm cubes. Set aside.
  2. Whip the thickened cream until it forms soft peaks. Keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use.
  3. Halve the peaches, remove the pits, and grill on each side until soft and grill marks appear. Once cooled, slice into thin pieces.
  4. Begin the assembly of the trifle: In a large glass trifle dish, layer the bottom with slices of panettone. On top of the panettone, add a layer of vanilla ice cream. Follow this with a layer of whipped cream.
  5. Arrange a layer of grilled peach slices and fresh strawberries over the cream.
  6. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream, grilled peaches, and strawberries on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy this delightfully simple Christmas dessert!


  • 1 Panettone, sliced into 3cm cubes
  • 2 cups thickened cream, whipped to soft peaks
  • 1 litre of vanilla ice cream
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved, pitted and grilled, then sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
