Apple Crumble

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Core and cut the apples into 8 pieces.
  2. In a large sauce pan, heat the apples, water and white sugar over medium heat. Stir regularly for 20 minutes before draining the liquid.
  3. While the apples are cooking, blend the flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and almonds. Beat until combined.
  4. Grease an oven dish, place the apples in the dish, stir through lemon juice and top with the crumble. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Enjoy!


  • 1kg Apples, Peeled
  • 1/4 cup Almonds, Crushed
  • 2 tbs Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Self-Raising Flour
  • 1/2 cup Plain-Flour
  • 1/2 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  • 150g Butter
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
