Apple Crumble
An easy and delicious touch to a winter feast!

- Preheat oven to 180°C. Core and cut the apples into 8 pieces.
- In a large sauce pan, heat the apples, water and white sugar over medium heat. Stir regularly for 20 minutes before draining the liquid.
- While the apples are cooking, blend the flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and almonds. Beat until combined.
- Grease an oven dish, place the apples in the dish, stir through lemon juice and top with the crumble. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Enjoy!

- 1kg Apples, Peeled
- 1/4 cup Almonds, Crushed
- 2 tbs Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Self-Raising Flour
- 1/2 cup Plain-Flour
- 1/2 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
- 150g Butter
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
