Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Add the chicken and coat evenly.
  2. Heat oil in a large non-stick fry pan and fry the garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken and cook on a medium heat for 5 minutes or until golden. Remove from heat.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the taco shells according to packet instructions.
  5. Fill the taco shells with chicken and top with shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa, avocado and sour cream.
  6. Top with cilantro and squeeze over fresh lime juice to serve!

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 avocado, diced (or guacamole if preferred)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 tbsp sour cream
  • fresh lime and cilantro to serve
