Mulled Wine

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into a pot over medium-high heat. When bubbles begin to form, reduce to low heat, cover and leave to simmer for 1 hour.
  2. Remove the cloves, star anise, cinnamon and oranges from the wine and taste. Add more maple syrup (or 2 tbs sugar) if needed.
  3. Serve in mugs with your preferred garnishes. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 (750ml) bottle Dry Wine
  • 1/3 cup Brandy
  • 6 Whole Cloves
  • 4 Star Anise
  • 4 tbs Maple Syrup
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Oranges, Sliced
  • Orange, Cinnamon and Star Anise to Garnish
