This environmentally friendly beer is a full flavoured, preservative free, low carb, refreshing lager.
The Cascade Brewery is set in the lush Tasmanian wilderness. It's a beautiful place to brew beer and Cascade have over 180 years of using only the purest ingredients. So it was only natural that Cascade Green was created. All remaining greenhouse gas emissions from Cascade Green are offset. That means, from the moment hops are sourced from the lush Tasmanian wilderness, through to when you place your empty bottles in the recycling bin, every single carbon emission has been accounted for.
Energy usage has been reduced by 16% and water usage has been reduced by 30% per unit of production. Whatever carbon emissions are still produced after these improvements, they are neutralized by the purchase of carbon offsets.
Bio-degradable vegetable oil based inks are used for the packaging, and the carton is 100% recyclable.
